In the third quarter of 2024, the top social networking applications in Croatia exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Threads experienced consistent download numbers, peaking at around 13K in early September. Its weekly active users saw an upward trend, growing from approximately 74K at the beginning of July to over 93K by the end of September.

WhatsApp Messenger saw a gradual decline in downloads from 9.2K in late July to about 5.6K by the end of the quarter. However, its weekly active users increased steadily, reaching over 2M by the end of September. Revenue remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the $30 to $40 range.

Facebook maintained a consistent presence with downloads hovering around 5K to 6K throughout the quarter. Its revenue showed a notable increase in early August, reaching approximately $1.3K. Weekly active users remained strong, consistently above 2.3M.

Rakuten Viber Messenger had a modest download performance, peaking at 5K in early September. Revenue increased steadily, with a peak of approximately $1.2K at the end of September. Weekly active users fluctuated but ended the quarter on a high note with over 258K.

Telegram Messenger demonstrated stable downloads around 4.5K to 6K, with a peak in early September. Revenue showed a significant upward trend, ending the quarter at approximately $2.5K. Weekly active users remained relatively constant, closing the quarter at around 183K.
